"I began experimenting with papier mache while studying for a degree in fine art at the University for the Creative Arts in Farnham, Surrey. After graduating, I continued to indulge my fascination for colour, texture and unusual form through my papier mache and mixed media artworks. This work has developed into two quite different styles, one of which is elemental in nature, and the other which exemplifies my more whimsical tastes. Each piece is individually hand made, painted and decorated with fine papers and foils and 3d paints before being coated with a strong water resistant varnish."

Dianne is one of the resident designers at Kirkharle Courtyard in Northumberland, where you can usually see her at work and see her full range of original artworks. Dianne's work is also sold in craft shops and galleries throughout the U.K and internationally.

Commissions for individual pieces are welcome.

Previously shortlisted for the prestigious "Gift of the Year " Award.
